I am not responsible for knocking off  cowls, bird guards or chimney pots. The only reason this can happen is due to them being incorrectly fitted, corrosion due to weather, heat or smokeless fuel.

I am not responsible for damaged flue liners. An older or already damaged liner is more susceptible to damage during the sweeping process, which can expose underlying problems that were previously hidden. A liner that was not installed correctly or that is already loose can be dislodged or damaged when it is swept. ​The sweeping process can sometimes reveal existing faults from age, misuse, or poor installation, which may lead to damage even if the sweep is performed correctly.
